We would like to commend all of the vet offices and their entire staff for going above and beyond for our rescue!

With daily requests for help, we cannot take in dogs that so desperately need our help without the funding to do so.  Please share, foster, volunteer, donate!  We don’t think we can ever tell you all how much we truly appreciate each and every one of our supporters!  YOU are the reason we have been able to save over 200 pitties AND COUNTING!
Our mission is to help save the lives of pit bulls, even if it is one rescue at a time, and to raise awareness! The Pit Stop Rescue is an all-volunteer group of individuals dedicated to the rescue and prevention of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of these beautiful, loyal, and fun-loving dogs. We are a certified Non-Profit foster based organization with fosters all over southern Louisiana. These areas include East & West Baton Rouge, Terrebonne Parish, Ascension Parish, Livingston Parish, New Orleans and surrounding areas. The Pit Stop Rescue is a rescue group formed to be a voice and a safe haven for the very misunderstood, neglected and abused pit bull breed.  Help us continue this mission by making your tax deductible donation today!

All dogs in our program receive a full physical exam, de-worming, all vaccinations, spay/neuter, micro-chipping and heartworm treatment (if needed), heartworm preventative, and any medical treatment they may need before adoption.  This can become very expensive over time and our adoption fees rarely cover the full amount of the vetting our dogs receive.  We rely on donations to continue to save lives.

We believe in giving the pit bulls we pull into our rescue program the best options possible for the health and well being of the rest of their lives.  We ask that you join in our mission by donating today.  We rely solely on donations from our volunteers and sponsors.  We appreciate your continued support, as we could not save as many as we do without you!

Sincerely,
The Pit Stop Rescue
